The Roosevelt Park Swim Center will be closed February 17-19 to the public

Rapid City, SD – According to the city officials, the Rushmore Swim Team will be hosting the South Dakota Short Course B Championship swim meet at the Center and the entire facility will be closed to the public with the exception of spectators attending the event.

Officials also said that the Center will close at noon on Friday, February 17 and reopen Monday, December 20.  

Swim Center participants using facility programming for the weekend have been notified.

Competitions are slated in freestyle, individual medley, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and relay events. 

Medals and ribbons will be awarded to the top 16 swimmers in each individual event.

High point awards will be awarded to the top five individuals in each age group and gender. Team trophies will be awarded to the top three placing teams.
