Rapid City, S.D. – Police officials released a statement saying that several members of the police department reportedly participated in ‘Glow Walk’ which is organized toward raising awareness about youth homelessness and runaways in the community.

Officer Hirsch released the following statement:

“It was great to participate in the glow walk this year. It’s a significant thing to raise awareness about youth homelessness within our community.

We have amazing community partners who are doing an outstanding job trying to solve these problems.

I am very proud that our community is able to come together to work to address these important issues.”
