Lane closure planned on Meadowbrook Drive for sewer work

Rapid City, S.D. – Rapid City Municipal Government announced a lane closure on Meadowbrook Drive beginning Monday, January 19, as part of a sewer connection project. Digger Construction will be connecting to a city sewer manhole, requiring a portion of the roadway to be closed.

During the project, a small section of the northbound lane and the bike lane on Meadowbrook Drive will be closed and traffic will be diverted around the work area.

Officials reminded motorists and cyclists to use caution and remain aware of workers in the roadway.

The project is expected to be completed by Monday, February 2.
