Work is expected to be completed on the City’s downtown parking structure, and will soon be open to public access, city officials say

Rapid City, S.D. – According to the city officials, the entire facility, including the east and west stairwells, will be open to public access. 

The multi-phase project began in January with various impacts to parking and pedestrian traffic in the facility.

The project entailed needed repairs and renovations aimed at improving the structural integrity of the parking structure and improving the structure’s stairwells.

City officials praised the work of the project contractor, SECO Construction, Inc.

City officials are pleased the work is completed in time for downtown holiday events.
