Rapid City casino robbed early Thursday morning

At around 12:55 a.m., police were dispatched to 1320 Mount Rushmore Road for a report of a robbery that had taken place.

Police made contact with an employee of the business on arrival, and the employee informed police that an unknown male had entered the casino, motioned like they had a concealed firearm, and demanded money.

The male left with an undisclosed amount of money when the employee complied.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 18-25 in age, and was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, black and white shoes, and a white COVID mask.

Police are still waiting for the business to provide security footage of the incident.
